Process for Registration with Central Excise

Central Excise Registration Certificate meant for a manufacturer and dealer. The said job related to issue of Registration Certificate with Central Excise Department would require the A-1 Application, to be filled in and submitted at www.aces.gov.in subsequent to which hard copies of the documents mentioned in the list attached are to be filed with the respective departmental authorities.  However, for issue of Central Excise Registration Certificate, your site would even be verified by the jurisdictional range officer etc. For your ease and ready reference, The list of document to be enclosed in the form of hard copies along with the application and its acknowledgment so filed online are as below :-.



List of Documents required for obtaining Registration Certificate as a Manufacturer or a dealer from the Central Excise Department alongwith A-1 application, detailed under below:-


1.            Permanent Account Number of Income Tax (PAN) of the Company / Applied For copy for PAN

2.            Memorandum of Articles of Association of the Company/ Partnership Deed

3.            Proof of possession of the premises to be got registered either sale deed/lease deed/rent deed /agreement.

4.            List of Directors/ Partners with their addresses and telephone Nos. besides their ID and Address proof and two passport size photographs

5.            Resolution of the Board of Directors authorizing the person to sign and present the application for obtaining Registration Certificate.

6.            ID Proof and Residence Proof of the person authorized to sign the application for Registration Certificate along with two passport size photographs

7.            Copies of Registration Certificate of Sales Tax or of any other Registration Certificate

8.            Rough road and premises map for the premises to be registered including directions (East, West, North, South)

9.            Cancelled Cheque & Bank details with Account Number.

10.          List of goods to be traded or list of raw material and list of finished goods with their Tariff Nos.

11.          Online Registration Acknowledgment alongwith A-1

The above documents are to be submitted in duplicate, except Memorandum of Article.
